Home Visits

I am more than happy to visit you in your home if you are unable or unwilling to come to my office. Many people who are exceptionally busy, private, have acute pain, or are homebound employ this service, and I am one of the few doctors who offer it. I conduct these visits in the same manner I would an in office visit, and will employ both traditional and integrative tools as appropriate. We will discuss all aspects of your health and lifestyle so that I may better understand you as a complete individual.  I will then advise you based on this discussion and your overall health goals. I will often recommend and/or employ complementary and alternative medicine including nutritional supplement therapy, acupuncture, laser for pain, homeopathy, etc., in the same manner at home as I do in the office. 

Because my office is electronic, I can prescribe treatments via satellite while in your home. This means that I will be able to link to your electronic medical chart, and send prescriptions (including compound prescriptions) DIRECTLY to your pharmacy, so there is NO WAIT TIME between our visit and your ability to pick up your prescription. If you wish, I can arrange for delivery of your medications to your home, but I DO NOT personally deliver drugs of any kind nor do I carry them in my car!

As you may or may not be aware, alternative and holistic medical services are typically NOT covered by insurance companies. As I practice integrative medicine, each one of my home visits will employ some aspect of alternative medicine. Medicare patients must sign that they will NOT request reimbursement for the portion of the visit that is alternative medicine, and I do not practice (or make home visits) for conventional medicine only. For those individuals who wish me to conduct most of their medical visits at home, most lab and some X-ray testing can be done in your house. In the interest of transparency, payment for home visits is made through my office is advance. Rates depend on where you are located in the Phoenix Metro Area, and whether you would like to see me on weekdays, weekends or after 9:00 pm. If you would like more information, please contact us.
